2MoRO Solutions, which specialized in software for maintenance, fleet management, and continued airworthiness, is now a fully-owned subsidiary of Sopra Steria, with effect as of August 2017.
Sopra Steria, a European leader in digital transformation (41,000 employees), provides one of the most comprehensive portfolios of end-to-end service offerings on the market: consulting, systems integration, software development, infrastructure management, and business process services.
Sopra Steria is trusted by leading private and public-sector organizations to deliver successful transformation programs that address their most complex and critical business challenges. Combining high quality and performance services, added value, and innovation, Sopra Steria enables its clients to make the best use of digital technology.
Established in 2004, 2MoRO Solutions is an innovative company dedicated to software development for the Aerospace and Defence market. Their software solutions cover the areas of fleet management, airworthiness management, preventive and corrective maintenance, and support contract management. Aero One®, Aero-Webb®, and BFly® are operated in more than 23 countries by aircraft operators, manufacturers, and MRO centers and can be integrated with pre-existing complex information systems.
For 2MoRO Solutions, joining the Sopra Steria Group and its subsidiary, CIMPA, which specialized in PLM and SLM (Product and Service Lifecycle Management) strengthens its position in the Aerospace & Defence markets and opens up new perspectives for other sectors. Combining their offerings, based on developing solutions for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) players and implementing them at the core of the customers’ operations, will also enable them to provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions on broader business scope.
With this strategic move into Sopra Steria, 2MoRO Solutions pursues its growth and innovation goals. It will benefit from the Group’s power and take advantage faster of the latest innovative technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, predictive maintenance, virtual and augmented reality, etc.) and the associated fields of expertise within CIMPA, Aeroline, and the whole Sopra Steria Group.
Pierre Dagois, General Manager of 2MoRO Solutions, comments: « I am delighted that Sopra Steria will be present to support our continued growth and development. I am convinced that it will create synergies and new collaborations and will strengthen our ability to provide added value to our customers as well as our capacity for growth. »
Xavier Pecquet, a member of the Sopra Steria Executive Committee and Director of Aeroline, adds: «This acquisition represents a great opportunity to strengthen our positions in the field of aerospace and defense maintenance and to accelerate the development of our activities. The many complementary aspects between 2MoRO, CIMPA, and Sopra Steria, in terms of offerings and customers, will enable us to best support our clients in recommending, managing, and deploying their projects. »
