This week, we are proud to launch our new chronicle People of 2MoRO. The concept is to present you our team members and what they do as a job through short interviews. For this first episode, we are with Vincent, Aviation MRO Specialist.
Introduce yourself…
Vincent, Aviation Maintenance Specialist, and 2MoRO Software Expert. I have been graduated with a technical diploma in physical measurements from Bordeaux (France). I then spent 2,5 years in the automotive certification sector in Barcelona. And finally, I have been working for 9 years in Blagnac (France) in an Airspace Engineering Consultants firm, EASA approved PART21G/21J/145.
What is your job?
It is divided into two main missions:
Airspace Maintenance Specialist for 2MoRO software Aero One & Aero-Webb. I test new developments while talking with customers to identify their specific needs. Then I try to translate it for the developers so they can update the interfaces, and I write functional specifications. I also exchange a lot with our CIMPA iSLM colleagues.
Commercial Animation for South America: we want to remain active in this zone because Aero One is truly appreciated, and it allowed us to expand our business in the past. Today we are working on several opportunities that are very interesting for 2MoRO. That is why I animate our distribution network and present our software to our final customers.
What do you love in your job…
I love my work because I am evolving in an environment composed of airspace experts as IT development engineers. This complementary association allows us to traduce specific airspace technical needs in an appropriate interface. I also love the fact of working in a changing sector, where customers' needs and practices evolve with changing trends. Working in this sector is very challenging, and I love that.
3 needed qualities
Expertise - Relational - Teamwork
What you love at 2MoRO…
2MoRO joined Sopra Steria, a European leader in digital transformation, which allowed us to reinforce our position in the market. However, 2MoRO still grows following its history and values by maintaining a strong teamwork spirit, which I would qualify as a “family”. This cohesion motivates all of us and goes far beyond the work environment.
Thanks Vincent for sharing your insights on your job and company. Also, we take this opportunity to say that we are looking for a new talent. There are available positions to join our teams here. Do not hesitate to apply, we will be glad to meet you !
