Interview Sylvie People of 2MoRO

- Hello Sylvie, can you introduce yourself in a few words? (Studies, professional experiences…)

Hello there! I started my education with a DUT in Marketing Techniques and followed that up with an apprenticeship-based Bachelor's degree at the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce.

My career began at a local communications agency where I oversaw a major account: the Leclerc stores affiliated with the Southwest purchasing center (40, 47, 64). My primary mission was to manage all their communications, especially during peak periods like the holiday season.

Later, I had the opportunity to live abroad, first in New Caledonia and then in Morocco. In Casablanca, I worked in the marketing department at Fiat Morocco, specifically on the communication team for Fiat dealerships with a specific campaign for all repair shops.

After that, I decided to switch careers and pursue a field that interested me: accounting. I received specialized training at AFPA and landed an administrative assistant internship at 2MoRO, where I've been for the past 9 years.

- What is your role at 2MoRO, and what do your missions consist of?

Today, I hold the position of Senior Agency Assistant at 2MoRO, where my missions constitute group work whose actions are shared with Mami, who works with me as a Polyvalent Assistant.

My primary mission is to take care of the accounting and all our financial flows, therefore a regular control of purchases, suppliers, various orders, customers, payments, and financial flows.

At the end of each month, we conduct an activity control for all employees and measure the productivity of 2MoRO. Project managers oversee project activity and progress.

My role requires versatility, and my tasks vary each day, allowing me to communicate with many people. As our projects are often multi-entity, I frequently communicate with other agency assistants in the Sopra Steria group.

I regularly deal with various subjects with the group's experts (lawyer, management controller, etc.), which makes my job even more rewarding.

- What do you like / like less about your job?

What I appreciate most about my job is the opportunity to work daily as a team with different interlocutors, and the versatility of my missions, which is something I experienced in my very first job and have always appreciated in a professional context.

There are times that can be stressful, such as the monthly financial close, where we must ensure that nothing is forgotten, such as a charge, a revenue, or a new employee. As part of my tasks and with my different stakeholders, we do a forecast for the next three months to ensure our accounts are accurate, which is the essence of accounting - reflecting the company's situation as accurately as possible to obtain a real picture at the end of the fiscal year.

- What do you think are the qualities necessary to succeed in your missions?

Rigor, team spirit, and enthusiasm to come to work every morning.

- If you had to recommend 2MoRO to a potential candidate, what would you say?

I knew 2MoRO before its integration into the Sopra Steria group, and I am pleased to see that the company has managed to keep its DNA and spirit.

It's this team cohesion that makes us feel good at 2MoRO. Although we are now part of a large group, we are still very united among ourselves, and that hasn't changed.

2MoRO has grown considerably since I arrived; we were 25 employees, and we have now passed 70 employees. It is still a company of human scale and I think that even if we reach the 100-person mark, it will remain that way. There is great conviviality, and the employees care for each other; I think that's the biggest asset of 2MoRO. Not to mention that it is a very innovative company and positioned in fast-growing markets, such as aeronautics. On a technical level, it's a plus for IT engineering profiles who would like to join 2MoRO, and there's that little extra thing that makes you feel good there.

The team is the main contributor to this atmosphere: from the arrival of a new collaborator, they will be welcomed and supported. Everyone can benefit from very attentive listening from our CEO, his Deputy, our HR Manager, or even from Mami and me as Assistants. The most important thing to remember is that there are no barriers to getting your message across or expressing yourself.

A big thank you to Sylvie for her availability, her professionalism, and all her enlightening answers! We wish her the best for the future at 2MoRO.
